Mario’s service was excellent! We had a group of seven- great service, everything came out as ordered, and was very tasty! Biscuit was the best I’ve ever had. With an excellent raspberry (?) jam. All the food seemed very fresh. Scrambles, omelettes, breakfast potatoes all were very good. Coffee/espresso options were good but we all agreed they were a little too watery.

Super yummy food nicely seasoned,drinks were really yummy too highly recommended the freshly squeezed orange juice. Portions are huge and worth the price. The servers are super friendly as well. We asked for the melts to be cut in half and separated they had no problem with the our request.

I’ve been meaning to try Buttermilk Café for quite some time, as it’s conveniently located next to the hotel I frequently stay at for work. I finally stopped in, and I’m glad I did — it exceeded expectations on all fronts. The food was absolutely outstanding. The breakfast potatoes were perfectly cooked — golden, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside, with just the right seasoning. The scrambled eggs were soft, fluffy, and full of flavor, and the sausage links were seared to perfection. The chocolate chip pancakes truly stood out — incredibly light, airy, and almost cloud-like in texture, with a rich, melt-in-your-mouth bite enhanced by the chocolate chips and a hint of powdered sugar. The ambiance of the café is just as impressive as the food. While I didn’t take any interior photos out of respect for the busy morning crowd, I can say the inside is just as beautiful and welcoming as the clean, modern exterior. The atmosphere is warm, bustling, and ideal for a relaxing meal or business breakfast. From start to finish, the experience was top-tier. The service was friendly and attentive, and the overall vibe made it easy to see why this place is a local favorite. I’ll definitely be returning on future stays.

My wife and I took my Grandma here and we had a great time. The service was fast and the food was delicious and fairly priced. I got the Chicken Fried Chicken skillet and I was IMPRESSED. It was a huge portion with great flavor. And cinnamon roll pancakes on the side. Yum! My wife and grandma got omelets. The Frenchie and the Ranch. Both absolutely delicious as well. My wife and I also shared a vanilla latte which was milkier than I thought. I may do a cappuccino next time. I will definitely be back.

I couldn't wait to try this restaurant that opened in Downers Grove. I was excited to try the briskillet. However, it was a bit too pricey. It was $22. So I tried the create your own skillet. It comes with eggs, potatoes and cheddar jack cheese. Since I have an egg allergy, I was able to get it without eggs. I added sausage. They charge extra for protein and vegetables. It was good. They give large portions. It came with pancakes or other options. They had coffee with no flavored creamers, but offered lattes, cappuccino, and machiato. Their coffee was okay. Our waitress was really nice and the server was too. They have a lot of staff. There were plenty of seating and it was a very nice setting.
